Opal’s Family Support Workers meet with families in their home, in the community, in the office, and by telephone to provide assistance in navigating systems and accessing respite services for children and adults with disabilities. We do not provide private, in home respite services, however, we provide quality, reliable respite programming in our facilities.
Through our Kids Club program, Opal Family Services’ staff and volunteers help provide daily after-school respite for children and youth ages 5-15 during the school year. Daily pick-up from school can be provided for families. Activities include baking, circle games, crafts, gym games, walks, playing at the park, and swimming.
